Post-war condos and newer Long Island City and Williamsburg developments more frequently include washer/dryer hookups or stacked units as standard. After 25+ years in this market, I've seen buyers overlook laundry as a negotiating point, only to realize post-closing that the building's coin-operated room is two floors down and perpetually busy.
