One of the most overlooked parts of a great NYC apartment is in its location, and what I mean by that, specifically, is it's sense of arrival. Every single thing plays an important role, it's just like the movements of an orchestra. Coming home to apt 7R is a just a classic NYC, downtown sensory experience. You can feel every New York City minute. It's in the air, it's on the street, it's everything that we have always come to know and love about our city. The apartment is located in Greenwich Village, not far from Union Square and Washington Square Park, and a short walking distance to the West Village. The area is vibrant, alive, and just flat out exciting. What I love about this apartment, besides the 16 wraparound windows, the 13 foot ceilings, and its white washed brick walls (in other words, just a massive amount of NATURAL LIGHT) is its very unassuming, yet quietly sophisticated entrance. You'd never guess this is an apartment building, but there it is in plain sight, looking very much the part of a true New Yorker. Strong, unfussy, yet beautiful and elegant. The apartment was thoroughly, and thoughtfully, renovated to stratospheric standards. You can see this, even through the images. You can tell that those floors will last you a lifetime. It's a beautifully laid out space, with finely considered details, all of which sum up the feelings of a genuine home. The proof of this, is that you always want to spend your time, and will inevitably land, at the apartment's control center the kitchen counter. Chopping, cutting, and cooking, all while seeing the water towers through your windows. **Pets allowed case by case.
