About
Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker
Keller Williams NYC · NY License #10301213304
I have sold NYC real estate since November 2001, two months after 9/11. I cover all five boroughs and the Hudson Valley, and I work in English and Spanish.
Before real estate I worked in non-profit fundraising at the American Friends of Rambam Medical Center, then briefly in finance on Wall Street, a stint that ended on 9/11. That morning I walked from lower Manhattan to midtown and took the train home to Washington Heights. Within weeks I was studying for the real estate exam.
I started in Upper Manhattan because the post-9/11 demand pattern was moving uptown, people leaving lower Manhattan for value. My first brokerage was Montilla's 159 Real Estate, an Upper Manhattan shop where the principal broker handed me the ball and let me run. I climbed to Managing Partner and Principal Broker and stayed 15 years, overseeing a team of 10 to 15 agents and personally vetting every deal in the office before it went to owners, landlords, and management companies.
I joined Keller Williams NYC in June 2016. Tech has been part of how I work since the beginning, from formatting early Craigslist listings by hand to building the office website that held #1 organic Google rankings for Upper Manhattan rentals in the mid-2000s. Today I represent buyers and sellers across all five boroughs and the Hudson Valley, and I run my own data-driven analytics on listing data rather than outsourcing it.

These are the deals that appear in my portal-exported record. My career began in 2001, so the actual number is larger than the export shows. See the list, sorted by price point, at miltoncoste.com/listings.
